I agree it is cool to have uncorroborated opinions and let both systematic and anecdotal evidence be damned. I also agree that the best thing to do is to try to be cool.

Not at all, free markets are not the most wonderful thing, in fact they are highly flawed. But they happen to be better much better than anything else you have offerred or that anyone else has suggested/tried.
