Bannerghatta National Park
We (myself, Priya, my mother-in-law and Priya's sister's daughter) went to Bannerghatta National Park yesterday. They had a wildlife safari (going around in a van to see wildlife in a semi-natural environment) and a zoo. We got some good pictures ( but we wern't so close to the tiger as the picture would suggest!)

Why the picture of the bird? What's so spectacular? Is it the red coloring around the eyes or what? Just curious. Big bird is certainly not going to make the flickr - most interesting or most favorite list:-) I don't think...

It was pretty much the only other photo that came out reasonably well. I think the bird is kinda cute.
