We're never going to resolve the Hindu Muslim conflicts in India without understanding more about each other and where are these avenues for understanding? I don't know of any.
The avenue of understanding should be along the following lines
1. Read theory of evolution and the MASSIVE empirical support for it. Understand that humanity occurred and was not created. Evolution did not have humanity as its goal. Humanity just happened by random mutation and natural selection together.
2. In light of (1) it is meaningless to ascribe meaning to life.
3. All belief systems such as religion tries to ascribe meaning and purpose as an externally specified thing. But there cannot be such a purpose because humanity happened by accident and self selection - nothing more.
4. If you want to prescribe meaning for your own life feel free to do so but realize its just your choice and there is no other basis to it.
